#2896 – No access to MUC logs anymore
Date added: 2012-11-23 09:57:43 Type: Bug report
Status: Resolved Priority: Normal
Affected version: n/a Milestone: n/a
Reported by: Assigned to: Not assigned yet!
Links to read the MUC logs at http://codingteam.net/project/codingteam/jabber don't contain anything n new since July, 6th. This has been reported already back in October or November last year on the codingteam-dev MUC itself.

At that time, I've been told to look instead at something like http://www.codingteam.net:5290/muc_log/conference.codingteam.net/codingteam-dev/ but this URL is not valid anymore (I got a "Connection closed by remote server" when I try to access it).

I cant be on the MUC all the time, so accessing those logs was very useful.

The first URL contains backup of old logs (when the XMPP server was ejabberd). When we installed Prosody instead of ejabberd, the MUC logs were reachable via the second URL.

Currently, the version of Prosody we use is incompatible with the plugin that handles logs publishing. We are aware of this problem and it has already been said to the upstream developers.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I fail to see how this is "Resolved" now, if it is, can you elaborate on how logs are accessible now?

As far as I know, the two links I posted before still have the same problem as before, unless I missed something.
