#1155 – Use CSS in select elements
Date added: 2010-02-06 18:37:50 Type: Bug report
Status: Resolved Priority: Trivial
Affected version: trunk Milestone: 0.9.4
Reported by: Assigned to: xbright
HTML forms using the select element use initial spaces to indent the options.

I like to use only the keyboard as much as I can. (Other people with disabilities may not even have the choice.) I know that I can scroll down the select by pressing a key (e.g. pressing “p” will scroll down to “Pascal”, then “Perl”, etc.). Initial spaces break this feature. CSS provides a way to get the same display without damaging accessibility.

Thanks for considering this bug.
